Finding the hotel is a challenge as the signage is subtle, leading to unnecessary wandering with luggage. The breakfast experience suffers from the presence of bees and birds, along with limited options like stale pastries and warm yogurts. Additionally, noise disturbances during the night are a concern, especially with street lamps shining into the room and ongoing water hammering sounds that disrupt sleep.

Bar area was cozy, but luggage storage was inconvenient. Wi-Fi worked well throughout my stay.

For stunning views during breakfast, request a rooftop table. The early morning light is breathtaking.

Charming stay with a rooftop view

Waking up to the stunning rooftop breakfast view was unforgettable. The cozy design and cleanliness of the room added to our pleasant stay, making it a quaint retreat in the village.

Finding the hotel was challenging due to the small sign, causing us to circle around with our luggage. Additionally, dinner had some drawbacks, like limited table options and hasty service.

The deluxe double room was lovely, but the restaurant noise was disruptive at night.

Loved the cozy room with a relaxing hot tub and beautiful balcony views over the square. Breakfast on the rooftop was a real treat, with homemade goodies that made mornings special.

Breakfast on the terrace had stunning views of the island. The rooms were clean and quiet with delightful AC. The bathroom amenities were top-notch, making our stay comfortable in that lovely Deluxe Double Room.

However, if you’re after peace and quiet, this isn't the place. The restaurant noise through the night and the breakfast experience plagued by swarms of bees had us skipping it entirely on the second day. Still, it was a memorable adventure!

locanda di orta bed & breakfast is a lovely little hotel right in the center of the old town. the deluxe double room was a good size, and the spa bath was a nice treat. we loved the little balcony for taking in the views. the location is perfect for exploring the village.

Charming stay with stunning views!

We stayed for 2 nights in a deluxe double room. The lovely balcony was perfect for enjoying the views. Breakfast up on the rooftop was simple but had nice variety, especially the homemade pastries. Just wish the noise from the street wasn’t as loud, especially during busy times.
